I'm a middle manager who will be putting in his two weeks tomorrow after being in this meeting.
In our morning meeting my higher up decided he's going to pull an april fools joke saying he's going to send an email at 11 giving everyone the day off tomorrow as a reward for their hard work. Then at 4:30 he's going to send some dumb meme saying april fools.
I've been wanting out of this place for a while, but this clown pulling a move like this is the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm not sure why he thought it was funny, but he's the “boss”.
