A Job that Doesn’t but SHOULD Exist:

HR Consultants for film companies. The #MeToo movement has proved the absolute necessity for advocacy towards fostering safe workplace environments in the entertainment industry. Currently, if workplace safety is undermined in virtually any way but outright (documented) physical violence, the issue is overwhelmingly ignored – largely in part because there is no real authority to answer to; nobody to hold any/all involved in an issue accountable. If film companies, or even just individual projects/productions employed at least 3 HR consultants of varying specialty areas per production, i’m willing to bet that victims of harassment would have much easier courses to seeking justice/consequences for the perpetrator(s), whether it be criminal or merely workplace-specific.
