What would you do in this situation when a group threatens to leave for better pay?

My sister and three other people in her position have tried for months, to no avail, to be paid better for the work they do. After not being taken seriously, they all accepted job offers elsewhere for $6/hr more an hour ($32/hr vs $26/hr). They are the ones who handle a region (half a state), so if they were to all leave at the same time, it would cripple the company's ability to operate. The job they do continuously is at the top of performance and profit charts for the whole company that operates across the US and Canada. Anyway, after they all sent out their notices, the bosses are obviously realizing they're fucked. Only now are they offering to match the other company's offer as well as hiring bonus. I told her it's a mistake because they could have done this months ago and are only now doing it because they're fucked otherwise. However, I understand her nervousness to leave a company she's been with for so long. Though, as I found out a few months ago from the same company, 15+ years of loyalty gets you nothing.

At her current, she gets 1 weekend off a month and $26/hr.
New company is 4 day work weeks, union, option to work Saturdays at $62/hr (if available because of seniority), no pension, but puts $150/wk into a 401(k) and $32/hr starting.

What would you do?
