So, I work at an Orange themed Chain Hardware Store and recently dyed my hair pink only to discover that your manager can tell you they don't like it and that you have to dye it back to a natural colour. The policy states that associates can't dye their hair non natural colours, which is a rule that is enforced at the discretion of the manager.
A coworker who heard about this suggested that I tell them that my hair being dyed is part of my religion (which is technically true). Can I tell them that and get out of being fired for not changing my hair colour back to a natural shade?
