Hey everyone, sorry im more of a lurker so hopefully i dont make too many mistakes posting. In in Australia and this current employer I applied for has made me do a 9am to 3pm meeting about their policies and what the company stands for. They also require roughly 10-15 hours of compulsery online training for fire safety and proper conduct that they provide. I know meed to do a final 3 hour medication training that they say isnt certificated and can only be used at their company. So my question for everyone. Am I being screwed? They told me we werent being paid for any of our time spent training, my only reasoning being they literally cant afford it with how much they make you do. My last ckmpany paid for the pre-employment orientsion which lasted half the time of their meeting. I understamd trainees exist but i finish this with 0 certificates so all my training only relates to this company. Thanks for any insight. (Edited spelling mistakes)
