Am I required to work 2 weeks notice if I’m on paid medical leave?

Hi all, I’m expecting to accept an offer for a new job and am on paid medical leave with my current company. If I’m on the paid medical leave, am I required to come off of it to work the 2 weeks until I start my new job? MA if that helps.
