Constantly being asked to work extra hours as a lifeguard.

I've been a lifeguard for only a month, and while I understand that they are low on lifeguards, the incessant asking for me to work extra sometimes only a few hours in advance is getting on my nerves. I work 5 days a week 30 hours a week, but this last week I worked 35 due to an in service. I am NOT a full time worker, yet a supervisor from a different facility to mine asked me to work another 5 hour shift on the weekend. I told her no because I am not open to working 6 days a week or full time. I may have considered it if I were told weeks in advance. The worst part is my mom works at this other facility, and for context, she does not have custody of me. She told her supervisor I would be available on weekends. The hell?…
