We have a point system for our attendance. Every time you call out or are late or leave early, you get a point. We have 8 points we can use for a whole year, hit 9 and you're terminated. Now, here's what is mind numbing to me, if you're even 1 min late for work, that's a point. Why? That seems a little harsh. I'm up to 7 points for being a min or 2 late and it's only April. Which means I can only miss 1 more day for the rest of the year wtf is that? We have around 200 employees at this particular plant but is it really necessary to give a point for being a few min late?
