I recently spoke with my boss on how I feel about the promotion I was given. Before people start saying he’s committing a crime or something, hear me out.
He’s a great boss. He won’t let me because he says I don’t give myself enough credit. He thinks I’m giving up too easy.
But that’s not the problem. I can do the job no problem, I just hate it and the aggravation it brings. Between angry customers that want their work done yesterday and impatient technicians, and dealing with extended warranties, it’s too much. I hate it.
But it seems my boss is convinced that I think I don’t know how to do it and that’s why I want to quit.
How do I tell him that I simply hate it???
