Not allowed to look tired at work? Okay, bye!

Recently I had the audacity to look tired at work (my shifts drastically varied that week from being very late to early morning) and my manager threatened to cut my hours. I explained the issue but got told manager doesn’t control the schedule. If I lose more hours it wouldn’t be worth it to show up. So I decided to casually look for other jobs, nothing serious because I’ve dealt with worse behavior so it wasn’t urgent. Got hired almost on the spot at a new store offering $2 more per hour. New boss even joked he doesn’t care how I look as long as I show up on time. Had a private laugh when she gave me attitude for only giving 1 week notice. Maybe if you controlled the schedule and didn’t put me for all morning shifts I’d be more inclined to help out. Ah well, I’d rather…
