The time I quit working at a CVS

I have needed Tuesdays off for therapy for about two years now, and when I submitted my application that was the only day I marked as unavailable, the rest of the week I put open availability. Stupidly, I was honest with my boss about why I needed my Tuesday and doubly stupid I told her my appointment time (early morning). It was Monday night, it was just me, her, and another associate closing. She asked my co-worker to come in Tuesday because we had a call out and she said she couldn't do it. My boss turned to me and told me “I know you can make it by 1pm, and if not I'm making it your responsibility to find someone to cover for you”. Cover for ME? Like I'm the one who called out right? It was Monday night, it was just me, her, and another associate closing. She asked my co-worker to come in Tuesday because we had a call out and she said she couldn't do it. My boss turned to me and told me “I know you can make it by 1pm, and if not I'm making it your responsibility to find someone to cover for you”. Cover for ME? Like I'm the one who called out right? I told her I flat out couldn't do it, and she just laughed and walked out. I wrote my resignation to be effective immediately, set it on her keyboard, and closed the store never to return. It still makes me happy to think about how she felt when she came in the next morning to find that her only day cashier quit. Just wanted to share, it still brings me joy and that was a year ago.
