Like the title implies, I work in the hospitality industry and one day clocking Into work I started chatting with one of my co-workers. Pretty much out of no where she starts gloating that her son started working at the age of 12. I asked how that's even legal or possible, but according to her all you need is court approval to start working at that age.
WHAT??
She even told me that he would work around 30 hours and made 50 cents less then her (and they worked in the same company).. How is this even legal or ethical? Of course not to steer drama I didn't voice any of my concerns, but felt compelled to mention it here.
