Any ideas on what I might say? I have been with my company for 10 years, I have never had any disciplinary issues, and I am constantly recognized by colleagues and customers as an extremely responsive and helpful person in the organization. I do not have any direct reports at this time.
On another note, I think it’s time to update my resume.
Quick edit to add: I have been going into the office two days a week since the pandemic started. I now need to justify that two days is sufficient and I do not need to be in the office more days.
