Too efficient for my own good, advice?

Hello everyone, I'm positing here seeking advice on how to handle this situation. I work at a very busy department of a lab. Furthermore, we had two members from our team resign in past few weeks. So it is now the people doing the job of 5. I loved working here in the past but this change has put me in a dilemma. Hello everyone, I'm positing here seeking advice on how to handle this situation.

I work at a very busy department of a lab. Furthermore, we had two members from our team resign in past few weeks. So it is now the people doing the job of 5. I loved working here in the past but this change has put me in a dilemma.

I feel my work style is burst of sprints and it makes me more efficient than my team members. So I would quickly finish a task, then take a break and then go on to next task. We had a time study done and it showed I was at least double as fast as the slowest member.

Now the dilemma is that since there is so much added work, alot of the tasks get left unfinished. And the only one still taking breaks is me. Other team members also breaks in the form of slacking off, but they are at their benches and are looking busy. So I become the target of scorn. If a comparison were to be done, I would definitely be doing more work hour for hour, but I am only working 20 hours versus their 40 hours so it is pretty clear I do less work.

Any advice?
