It seems to me that this once important movement has simply become an echo-chamber for people who want to do whatever the fuck they want at work and being told “no” is enough to send them on a vengeful online rampage.
I'm not a manager but some of the shit you people complain about wouldn't stand in my workplace if I was either. The hottest post right now is a poster telling staff that turning up on your days off and standing behind tills and counters without uniform and distracting clocked-in employees, is unacceptable. I don't see how this is a bad thing? You're making the place look unprofessional by walking around in staff areas without looking like a staff member, distracting on-the-clock employees and just generally getting in the way? Hanging around food prep areas when you don't need to be there is also a health concern. The poster didn't target anybody, and although it wasn't put politely, nothing else was to come of it. If you hate work so much, why are you there when you're not even being paid to be so?
Stop filling this sub with nonsensical shite because you're detracting from genuinely toxic work environments and the genuine issues that we have to deal with in society and the workplace.
