I was looking through my bookshelf and found the self help, get rich book she gave us and just remembered this.
My first Christmas working at this backbreaking, partially dangerous, physically demanding job, she gave us $1 scratch off tickets instead of a Christmas bonus. Annoying but what can you do?
My second Christmas working there, she gave us all a choice to choose between three different self help, get rich books. I don't remember what the other books were, but they were $20 a pop. There were ten of each self help book, so thirty books in total. She spent about $600 on shitty self help books instead of using that money to help us out on the holidays and give us a little Christmas bonus.
The book I got was “The Latte Factory” Fun.
