I posting behalf of my girlfriend. She works at a makeup store in Texas, let's call it Clown Beauty Hair and Nails.
Basically everyone hours is getting cut including mangers. My girlfriend works almost 35/36 hours a week, now its 20-24 hours.
The store manager sent a heated email about this, the district manger said straight up, “I want my bonus.” No shame, not a care for others. Maybe even narcissistic.
They had a meeting at the store yesterday, every manager, district manger and I think the regional manger.
No word on what the conclusion of that meeting.
Is this even legal? Can someone just do this?
