My department is a specialized job. We make the batches of product that goes in the aerosol cans. It's technical work with tons of paperwork that errors on can get you fired in a heartbeat.
Because people are rightfully bailing out of there to go elsewhere with the looming closing, they have posted mass position openings in my department. They are offering regular production people an extra $1000 if they train and work my department for the last few months, but offering NOTHING to us already trained and doing the job.
The guys sticking it out to the end for the severance (been there 15-20 years) have already said they refuse to train any of them. The rest of us are getting interviews and running like hell. I got an email this evening for a maintenance position at a different company that is offering a minimum 3 dollar raise, I'm going to try to talk them into 6 more an hour as it's posted 26-31 to start.
Fuck voyant beauty. Aside from microban, most of what they make is the cheapest garbage in the industry (Unilever products are pretty awful and most hairstylists won't touch suave or tresume if they can avoid it)
Also. Y'all would be shocked at how much of these products are 95% alcohol or water.
Old spice body spray? 98% alcohol. 1.5% chemical slurry, .5% scent
If you see products with voyant beauty or Danville aerosol inc. on it, don't buy it. Fuckem
