My manager offered me the opportunity to transfer to a different position within our department but it would be 1) a lot more work 2) in a physically uncomfortable office environment 3) the same exact pay as my current position.
I understand taking the position would be good for my resume and I would learn a lot but I don’t really want to work more for less money. Honestly I’m already struggling with my mental & physical health in this position that has less work.
Any advice is helpful. I have the choice to decline and that’s what I want to do but I don’t know if that would be a mistake
