I just wanted to rant really quick about my job
Now I want to say that I’m not completely innocent. Some are weeks are better than others in terms of time management. HOWEVER, there are weeks that I just have too much on my plate and I have to call out. Well one of those weeks was two weeks ago. I was scheduled Friday, Saturday, Sunday. But I had to call out on Friday. And now finals week starts the week of the 24th, meaning I cannot work any of those days because My exams start at 6pm and my shifts are 12 (7-7). So I called my boss to inform her before she finalizes that months schedule. She goes in on my about how “I can’t just not work, and It was unacceptable to for me to call out” and how “she spent hours balancing the schedule” and that she’ll speak to me tomorrow when I get in.
This is where I’m like 99.999999% sure I’m gonna get fired. Regardless of what she says to me tomorrow…..I still CANNOT show up to work on the week of the 24th, there’s really nothing I can do about it. If she’s willing to overlook that then maybe, I’ll still have a job come May. If not then I I guess I won’t
