I manage a recruiting department for a midsize niche company. Since I was hired 2 years ago I have pushed and pushed for us to expand our minimum wage to workers and to have fair pay transparency policies that I can advertise with jobs. Well after a week of meetings I finally got them to see the light! Not only am I now allowed to post all of our pay policy information with each job, all of our current employees will be reevaluated against the new policies. Small wins but I feel great that I can be more transparent with people and all it took was a bit of time and a lot of patience. Very happy for this sub, keep bitching about what you hate at work so I can keep recommending the changes you’d want to see.
Edit: CEO just made his salary available for all to see too, right now he’s only being paid 4.5x the amount of our lowest paid employee
