Was I supposed to be able to predict the pandemic that contributed to the changes in demand in the film and advertising industry? Was I supposed to quit school early to get work before the pandemic? Even though all the employers seem to want trained employees. Was I supposed to train for something outside of my skill set and natural abilities that wouldn’t be affected by a pandemic? Was I supposed to go against my morals and just be an abuser that manipulates and takes advantage of people to gain power? People keep saying it’s my fault. My bad decisions. What did I do wrong? I went to school like the boomers told me to. I did the retail work and compromised my health. I even put myself out there and tried the freelance thing. I feel like I’ve done everything I was supposed to. But it’s still somehow my fault.
