This isn’t sounding unique anymore. I got an annual raise of 1% last year after the fortune 50 company I work for had record profits. This year, I got a 3.5%.

Since this doesn’t even outpace inflation, I sent an email to my boss asking if/when an inflation adjustment will occur since I do my job better and better each year while getting paid less and less. I don’t know how it’ll go but I’m glad I started the conversation. I wouldn’t have even done that if I hadn’t found this sub. Thank you guys!
