Hello, this is a cross post to r/Kroger, just trying to get as much info as possible.
I put my two weeks notice in two weeks ago. My manager said I gave it to her on 3/26 at 3pm. Later, she put me on a shift from 10pm-6am starting 4/9. I remember talking to her about it and she said that I didn’t have to work it, but she didn’t cross it off the schedule and she didn’t tell any of the other assistant managers.
I’m not working that shift. I planned to drive out of town to meet family, and I’ve already had to cancel a trip to cover for this place. I’m not doing it again.
My question is, if I don’t show up for this shift—my first no call no show in 6 years—can they withhold all of my vacation and personal days? I already made sure that the payroll person plugged it into the schedules, so if they don’t do anything I’ll get 104 hours worth of pay. If they take it away, it’s 104 hours worth of pay.
Thank you all in advance for any info you can give me.
