Mental Health and the Workplace

So I've been at this new job since the start of the year, started around January time and I'm coming to the end of my probation. It been extended by four weeks as of now but they have said if things don't get better they “may have to terminate my contract” I was off the year before, for the majority of the year for mental health reasons which they're aware of. I'd mentioned it in my interview and had numerous meetings with the managers and have explained in detail how I am feeling, what I'm doing to help myself and the outcome I'm hoping to get. Ive had severe anxiety and depression for a number of years now. They know my history and that I've been diagnosed by the doctor to do with these illnesses. What can I do here? As I feel like it's wrong them terminating my contract…

As I feel like it's wrong them terminating my contract for mental health reason because if this was a physical illness I believe it'd be abit more lenient.
