So I went grocery shopping today, as I always do on Sunday’s, and while I’m walking through the frozen aisle the “stock” guy (works for the company distributing food not price chopper) has the balls to say out loud that “NoBoDy wAnTs To WoRk”. I couldn’t help myself but I turned around and asked him how much money he makes a year and he said $70k a year and I looked at him and asked “would you be able to survive off $9.00 an hour? To pay rent, buy a car, pay for medical insurance, go on vacation etc etc.? He just looked at me blankly because clearly the answer was NO. So I yelled as loud as I could “OH so you wouldn’t want to work for shit pay and be unable to survive well aren’t you just so lucky that you make a living wage but you can bash others who expect the same” I stared at him with dead cold eyes and and told him to go fuck himself and all his capitalist piggies. That sure made him shut his stupid mouth. It was such a good feeling. Fuck that guy.
Even in the area I live (LCOL) $9.00.. $15.00…$20.00 an hour isn’t enough.
Fuck capitalism.
