Context: I am a Latino Male who works for a County Conservation Corps. Won't disclose the name for privacy
So I took a new position at my job working our Recycling Center. People come in with their recyclables, we sort them, weigh them, & pay them. Ever since moving spots, it has helped my mental health alot.
Since at my old position I'd had to deal with people always making comments about NSFW comments. I couldn't tell them to stop making jokes/comments cause then I'll be seen as bit of an outsider.
A majority of the people who work here are of Hispanic descent &/or are from/or still in gangs. If you don't joke around with them they'll see you as an outsider/weirdo.
