I don't know what the situation is outside of the UK but it'd be interesting to know if others are having the same issue.
I applied for a job, passed the interviews & accepted their offer of employment. Got a start date. Great.
Oh wait, now I have to go through the screening process. They want to know what I've been doing for the past 5 years. They also want proof for any employment gaps. Ok, sent them my MA certificate, my P45 & a couple of bank statements showing I'm in receipt of benefits.
They want all of my bank statements from August 2020 (when I started claiming) up until now. That's 20 statements to download & email.
It's a third party company who's doing this screening. No names on the emails, the telephone number is just a general helpline who can't tell me what the team working on my future employer's account actually need.
Any response from the screening co is just extremely generic, impersonal & of no use whatsoever.
I'm trying to come up with an easier way which won't waste not only my time but whoever's going to be doing the screening. Because if I have to send 20 individual bank statements to them, I will not being making their lives easier by highlighting the payments or telling them the dates.
Right now, I'm tempted to tell them to stuff their job.
