I think any stigma behind job loss and/or job hopping is finally gone

So many people have lost their jobs due to the pandemic. And others are tired of being taken advantage of so they’re getting better work lined up. For a very long time, it was almost considered conventional knowledge that if you didn’t stick around at a job for longer than a year or two (whether or not you left on your own or the company just terminated you with or without notice,) you are considered damaged goods. Now I feel as if a veil has been lifted and people are finally starting to look past that bullshit. We are more than just our jobs and life is too short to be slaving away at a company that literally doesn’t care about us and can just let us go without a moment’s notice
