Ok so this post is just a story about my company just throwing away money.
My company is the largest private employer in my county. The CEO (and founder) wrote a book about building a large company and whatever. It’s just him stroking his own ego.
My department was told we need to ship out 50k copies of this book. If it cost just a single dollar ($1) to produce and ship the book, that’s $50k meaning $20k more than my yearly income.
So far it’s gonna cost $7.50 to ship this book out. That’s about $374k. They cut our bonuses this past year bc of the panny. They decided to announce that on some really nice GLOSSY letterhead.
