I’m scheduled to work 2pm-10:30pm. Management makes us work until 12:30am. A few days a week I leave after my SCHEDULED 8hr day, but my bosses are starting to look at me like I’m a lazy POS.
My supervisor knows that I’m the only one on my shift that has any reason at all to need to leave early, and I won’t go into all of those here.
My supervisor has assured me that as long as I get my 8 in I’ll be okay, because again, that’s what I’m actually scheduled and signed off on when I took the job. However, other employees and the bosses are starting to judge me for it.
Is it legal for them to force me to work Overtime when it isn’t scheduled?
