My girlfriend works as a pharmacy technician at a major American pharmacy chain, CVS. She started at $14 an hour, and was told she would get a raise to $16 once she completed her training. She has been working there for over a year, now, and finished up her all of her training months ago. My girlfriend is containing to make $14 an hour, while other employees at the store that started around the same time she did have already gotten their promised raise plus another for being there as long as they have, and are making $17 per hour. It might have something to do with the fact that my girlfriend is the youngest there and not taken seriously, it might be because the manager is just being lazy. We have no idea.

This has to be illegal, right? At this point, this massive delay has probably culminated in hundreds of dollars of lost wages. What can she do about this?
