So my wife has been working for the UN since March as a web developer. She was supposed to get paid on the first. They have given her multiple reasons as to the problem and keep saying payment is going to post and it doesn’t. Come yesterday they tell her they going to reduce hours for performance even though she’s completed every ticket assigned, and it was on work outside her expertise. She said she’s done working until paid, they owe around $10k. The other contractor hired at the same time hasn’t been paid and had an hours reduction as well. We plan to file with the Department of Labor. We also found out this is kind of their MO. How does the UN get away with this.
