Insecurity of no degree
frustrating to be one without a degree
It’s not that I don’t want for it
The paper that guards my dreams
The barrier that prevents me from moving forward
I yearn for education I yearn for growth
It’s what yearn for the most
Barrier block me from achieving success
Go in debt or regret
Relying on jobs to make ends meet
Without a bachelors degree how can I stand in my feet?
Insurance is tied to careers like it’s all more the wise
Relying on healthcare doesn’t help get by
The system is cracked
Only those fortunate can go with ease through its cracks
Working hard hasn’t gotten me to where I yearn to go
Without an education all I can do is woe.
