Timeline:
Thursday coworker took a covid test and it came back negative.
Friday I worked with coworker and he was very sick.
Saturday my day off and he tested positive.
Sunday I work and find out from other coworker that he has Covid.
I texted my boss asking why I wasn't informed that he had covid and got no response. I worked with him the whole shift and we are friends so I hung around him the whole shift. I texted him and he said “sorry I didn't tell you.” I talked to the rest of my coworkers (people who didn't work with him) and it seems like EVERYONE knew he had covid before me.
Now I have to stay home from college, get a covid test, and stay away from my parents who are immune compromised. Is this ok? I live in southern California, does my manager have to tell me about possible exposures?
(I'm planning on quitting after this semester is over so I can't just quit right now)
