For context i work retail and usually when we can’t work a specific day we tell our bosses i can’t work these days because xyz.. we use an app for scheduling and i just closed my availability for a specific Friday-Sunday since it’s not a vacation I’m doing a lot of moving. My boss just texted me saying i have to put it down as I’m taking a vacation since “I’m away from the store for for a whole weekend it needs to be set as vacation” it’s not a vacation. I work part time so i feel like me putting down that I’m on vacation just makes the company look like they’re giving people vacations often but it’s really just i can’t work because i got shit to do? Am i over thinking it or is should i be questioning it?
