Last time I posted I was talking about how various circumstances has caused my wife and I to live in her Car. The main focus was how the employer was able to lie to the food stamp people that she was still working there despite giving 0 shifts for months. This means my wife was without and still is without foodstamps since the issues with her employer started.
Currently we are just waiting for DSHS to confirm her stop work form has been processed. Once we get this information im getting her to apply for unemployment for the period she was without work.
They previously denied her unemployment due to work telling them she was still working there. From what I understand in Washington you can't just not schedule someone for that long or they effectively become dismissed/fired.
After we apply for her unemployment im taking this to the national labor board and any other state boards that will listen. I want to compile the evidence and also have that stop work form to really show just how long it took for the employer to report her correctly. She has schedules for months showing no shifts and then a stop work form being processed just now will look very fishy to the labor board.
I also want to see what we can do about them trying to force my wife to quit. From my perspective they made my wife suffer on purpose to make her quit. I assume in HRs mind it would be cheaper then releasing her and letting her get unemployment. Well these fuckers are going to realize how much cheaper that would have been.
