If this isnt a good place to put this direct me to the subreddit that i should ask this. Now i work a job that pays pretty decent (15 an hour in Idaho) and i love what i do and the people that i work with but my gm just hired a guy for a position thats higher than mine that I’ve been going for (and making it known that i wanted it) and was approached about taking up a few months ago. Now he’s a good dude but I’ve been in this industry longer and have 3 years of experience in what we do more than him and have been here longer than him so i know what I’m doing. I don’t want to leave the job but i hate the feeling if getting stabbed in the back especially since i took a pay cut to be at this job. Now theres one more position available that i can take i just dont know how to ask for it.
