I work and I work hard for my families painting and renovation company and I don’t mind doing it for them! I dropped what I was doing to come help them when dad suffered a stroke last summer and have been working with them since then. I’ve come to find out however the people who they contract through, get about 45% for being a calculator basically and exchanging pleasantries with customers they won’t even see more than trying to have their face out on the job. They aren’t the ones out there carrying ladders and do the work but these overpriced middlemen are banking on it. They don’t go out and and have to move peoples heavy furniture around to paint and slide across dirty floors to do it. But they benefit fully from it. People who go out and do nothing more than smile and read a script while shilling product can sustain their lives reasonably, while the people getting dirty so they can live that way live in poverty because they can’t or are unwilling to work another 40 hours out in the heat or climbing up a ladder to get what some overpriced middledick makes sitting behind a computer and shooting a laser measure at a wall
