Throw away bc my main acct is known by peoples.
Recently quit the most toxic job I have had in my 25 years of work history. I have 2 1/2 weeks left on my notice period and its getting harder and harder to show up.
I am also 14 weeks pregnant and have not told them nor missed a single day of work. I had to make one appt for a new high risk OB that will require me to miss 4 hours of work.
I message the two other folks who do my job (out of courtesy) and the office manager to let them know I’ll be out for medical testing. Its 10 days from now so medically speaking lots of notice.
Coworkers- well worker 1 is already off that morning and can’t reschedule her patients in the afternoon. Can’t you go another day. (Background- their arrangement was not submitted for approval nor is it on our time off calendar nor was it sent in a group email- all policy).
Me- Its a specialist that can’t be done any other time.
Cowworker 2 – I’m sorry but I have another commitment that day so I can’t come in. (I wasnt asking her to). You’ll have to leave and answer your calls and come back to finish whatever comes in.
Me- The appts are all afternoon. I am not available after 1pm. I have spoken with the office manager who will work on coverage. There are spots on X, Y and Z day to move patients.
And this is why I will be unemployed in 2 1/2 weeks….
