Me and my dad are completely unable to see eye to eye on the topics this sub brings up, and he is completely OK with the mistreatment and misrepresentation of workers.
To give you a general overview of who he is:
-He makes +80,000 a year, working as maintenance of [BIG COMPANY HERE]
-He is perfectly ok with having cameras installed in intrusive places, just to 'make sure that people are working'
-He doesn't seem to realize inflation is a thing, or that the minimum wage hasn't raised at all. (I don't think he even knows the minimum wage, based on conversation)
-He just believes that most, if not everyone on subs like these, are “just the 1%” and that all jobs are good. (Despite there being literal millions of you across the internet)
-Has never been unable to afford basic necessities, or has the experience of having roommates to afford overpriced housing.
-his first impression of Antiwork was off of FOX News (we all know how that went)
How can I make him realize that what he's seen/heard isn't what he should be concerned about, and what the real problems that need to be tackled are?
