I work 4 7-8h shifts a week and I’m not allowed to stand.

I do almost nothing for the entire shift. My customers are few and far between, mostly elderly folks who need me to explain how their phone works. Seeing as I don't have a lot to do and that standing for that amount of time is painful, I sat. I first got told off for bringing one of the bulky chairs we have for customers on the other side of the desk, but “I was getting in the way of other workers.” So I bought my own small folding stool. It was found in the back room and my boss was alerted. I received a call on my day off stating that I needed a doctor's note and that I didn't need to buy my own stool; it would be provided if my accommodation is approved. I currently can't afford a doctor's visit, and I'm moving out of state soon, so…
