In florida, i work for a powersports company as a full timer (their isnt a part time position anywhere in the building to my knowledge)
My GM comes to the back sometimes and tells everyone to leave before the shift is over (we work 8:00am-4:30/5:00shifts) today he did it at 3:45-4:00pm bc it was slow, which is always the reason we get sent home. (I wasn’t ard during this; im known to be a hard worker so I actually have never been told to leave directly)
I’ll cut it short, my question is VVV
To my knowledge- in Florida at least- full time workers that are sent home early MUST be compensated for the full days pay. Which we are not getting.
Is this illegal?
