Stick with the poison you know or blindly jump into the new one?

Like many, I have been at my job for two years and have been under paid at $19/hour and no remote work. Been job hunting for 3 months because my job is so frustrating with new management. Found a temp to possibly hire job starting at 24/hour. All remote. If the firm takes me on permanently it’ll be $50k/year. However, no benefits for 3 months and they can fire me whenever. The temp job I found this position through said the last person they sent to this company was permanently hired in 2 weeks, but I shouldn’t expect that for the new one. My current job was upset when I gave my two weeks and said they would try to counter but balked at an amount. My current job was upset when I gave my two weeks and said they would try to counter but balked at an amount. She’s tried to say you could have 1 remote day but in 3-4 years I’d be GM… can’t wait on a promise.

Today my current boss said that not only can she match the $24, but she would give me $25.50 an hour, and an immediate promotion to office manager. Only 1 day remote.

It’s a take as old as time, do I stay with my current job since I’m finally getting paid right? Or do I leave anyway since it took me quitting for them to give me a raise.

I love having a certain job and benefits. But I want to be remote and I want to be respected. So far I Ike the people at the new job but that’s just based on interviews. Obviously I can’t know how they will be working.

I know no one can decide for me. But if anyone wants to share their experiences I would truly appreciate it! This would be my first time working a temp to hire job.
