Basically what’s happening right now is that a former employee made threats to another worker about coming in and shooting up the place because the boss treated him like shit. It was reported to the local police and we were informed before our shift to keep an eye out for the employee while we’re working. That’s all the info we were given because it’s apparently still an active crime case.
Right now everyone’s on edge and extremely pissed off that they’re making us work today and I wouldn’t be surprised if some people walk out because of this shit.
This is a fast food job for context. My boss literally decided that his shitty cheeseburgers are more important than our lives. You’d think that the LEAST they could do is have a cop stationed in our parking lot but no, fuck our lives I guess.
