The minimum salary is going up where I live from 13.50 to 14.25 cad now I earn a bit more than that but still it going up means I'm effectively getting a reduction in salary. I went I and asked for an equivalent raise. He told me that I doesn't work like that and that I will not be getting it. It's .75 an hour. And he nearly laugh in my face for this.
I really want to leave but jobs aren't very common where I live and I'm scared of not being able to find a new one in time. I don't have any savings because I had to get my car repaired not long ago.
