I’ve been with my company for almost 4 years now. I was informed recently that my current job path is increasing their starting to pay to a certain amount. I was currently making under this certain amount so was told my pay was going to be increased to this new amount, and told this was GREAT news. Even though I am technically making more than I was, I just realized now I am going to be making the exact same amount as a new hire in this same role. What about my last four years of experience?Is there a way to fight this?
Also, when I asked if pay scales for this role would shift, I was told no. So the rest of us are getting screwed.
