My town is possibly gonna be on fire soon and the only thing really keeping me from leaving is the fact that the power in town hasn’t gone out. If it does then I’ll be free to leave because my work won’t have power tomorrow and thus it won’t be a “no call/no show” and besides I don’t have any time to use, sick leave etc. because I caught the flu recently and got my ass kicked so hard it was like fighting a fuckin ninja while blindfolded.
The north side and south side of town have evacuated and I’m on the west side. My family is acting like nothing is gonna happen. We’re good for now but I’m sitting here with my anxiety disorder freaking the fuck out, and worrying if I’m sacrificing a job that I don’t even get paid minimum wage for, ~$10.50/hr (apparently it’s supposed to kick up to $15/hr later in the year but I doubt it.). So yeah….
Fuck this shit.
