This happened a couple of years ago and I have since moved on to better things.
I used to work for a convenience store/gas station. We had 1 uniform shirt supplied to us free of charge but had to purchase additional shirts if we wanted extras. I made due with the one shirt since I only worked part-time. A few months after I started, the owner decides to get us T-shirts that we could wear instead of the official uniform shirt but we had to pay for the new shirts. We were charged $15-$18 for each shirt depending on the size we wanted. Just 2 weeks after getting the shirts that we ordered, the owner decided to sell the overstock that he had to the public. The cost for the public to purchase these shirts was $10.99. We were never offered a refund of the difference or any discount before or after he sold to the public.
