Ive made a habit out of mentioning successful union action to cashiers and other service workers when I go out. Dunno if it’s actually accomplished anything, and I sometimes encourage them not to respond cos expressing agreement can get them fired. However I know when I worked service, I didn’t even consider organizing- didn’t think it was even an option, much less one that could work.
So yeah, I think this is a worthwhile habit. If all 2 million of us started giving pro-organizing fun facts in the drive thru, maybe we could have a general strike one day
